As the game starts its introduction, where the rebel is telling you "John! John! Oh, I thought you were dead.", in my game, he isnt even looking at you. He's not making any animations becides a sudden head turn. And no movie flash back plays. I'm just lying there unable to move an inch. No lines beyond, "I thought you were dead.". And it forces me to play from the second chapter, where I have no idea what is going on. Help?

For those with issues, here's a solution:

Ravenholm

Bugs: Cannot turn or look around.

Fix: In gameinfo.txt, change SteamAppID to 215. Copy in folder from half-life 2

You need to download the HL2 content file by Silvermink (sp) and use the bin file from there and replace/add it the Ravenholm folder.

Have the same issues wit the mods-just got the update so likely that will resolve the issue and now to look around to fix the rest of my mods messed up by the OB update. Nice looking work on what I have seen so far. :)

Hi, I'm facing the same concern than Guy M. The mod has been installed and seems starting but the dialogue at begining is not starting and my character is stuck.

I'm facing the same kind of concern with Rock 24 mod ... Other mods are working well (get a life, Blitzkrieg, Riot act, ...) But those two seems not starting properly.

If someone knows how to solve this concerns ...

Hi, I just reinstalled HL2 after not playing for a year. The first mod I downloaded and installed was Dear Esther (which works fine) but Ravenholm will not work. My character is stuck and can't move at all. I start the game like normal and hear the opening dialog but cannot do anything. I have the mod set up correctly and all the controls are fine.

i had hl2 episode pack installed and didnt have Ravenholm in my games list. i bought hl2 and upon installing it Ravenholm appeared in my games list. idk if installing the original hl2 to steam enabled it but its there now.

I'm stuck with Michael as well, we killed all the zombies but I can't find where to lead him out. Only place seems to be the big pipe but he can't go that way. How do we both leave to teh next area?
